Cleaning Up and Moving Out

I never minded moving... I always thought that it was a good chance to get rid of things and to re-organize. I still don't mind, but it was much harder to do this time with a one year old! We were very thankful for friends who graciously watched Graham while he was awake and helped pack while he was asleep or under someone else's care! We were also super-thankful that Nat's mom (Bernie/Grammie) came down to help us. She is a master cleaner and when she was not cleaning was a master magnet for Graham -- it was also great to be able to see her again before the move!
Here is Grammie teaching Graham how to be a super-cleaner!!
A picture of our life in boxes...
... and of the friends who helped us move all of those boxes into the truck! We were so thankful for all of the help and there were many more friends who helped who didn't stick around for the pizza afterward (I didn't have the camera on hand during the actual move). In this picture is Graham, Kim and Michael Domras, Lindsay, and Christina and Dan Emmons.
This crew is Grammie, Dave Carlson, Nat, and Graham, the Domras family, and Christina again.
Graham needed to be cleaned up too -- Grammie gave him a special bathtime in the sink!
After Graham was in bed, Ben and Lindsay stuck around to help us clean until well past midnight. When the five of us could go no longer (Bernie/Grammie, Ben, Lindsay, Nat, and me), we ate all of the remaining ice cream that was in the freezer. Here's a fun shot of Lindsay cleaning!
