Let's Ride

The ride from yesterday that Graham's been talking about all day...
And Kate's ride that has saved my sanity many times the past week or so! I didn't need a sling with Graham but it has been such a blessing to have with Kate :o)

On Our Own

Bernie left last Tuesday (almost a whole week ago!) and we have been left to figure out how to make days function on our own! I would be lying to say that it's been an easy week... Nat stayed pretty busy at church last week (including most evenings) and we have needed to re-train Graham in some discipline areas... but we really are loving being a family of four. Some blessings: Kate is only waking up once in the middle of the night (though it is sometimes a challenge to get her back to sleep after that!), Graham really REALLY loves his baby sister and wants to do anything with/for her, meals have been and will be provided for us through the end of the month through the generosity of the church, and we have had a very sweet two days with Nat home a considerable amount of time!!

Here are some pictures of our week...
Right before Bernie went home to Maryland with the two grandbabies!
Daddy-daughter time
Graham and Kate!

Hmm... tummy time=sleep?
What Graham does when I'm not looking - stealing the camera!
Kate and two other babies from church were born within 3 weeks of each other and they are so social that they've already had play dates ;o) The first picture is Kate (dark hair) with her friend, Ella (blonde)!
This is Kate (in the car seat) with Baby Elliot! It's fun to have babies so close together!
Each day of the first week on our own seemed to go very slowly, but looking back the week itself flew by!

Gran-Gran's In Town!!

Bernie/Gran-Gran (Nat's mom!) came to help us out last Tuesday and we have been so thankful! She's taken on the several hats of taking care of Graham, cleaning, shopping and cooking delicious meals single-handedly... and, of course, holding Kate whenever she has the chance! She heads home on Tuesday morning and we will need many prayers for patience and endurance (and my continual recovery from the c-section) as we will be on our own with two children (and their many needs) after that. We've loved the opportunity of having both sides of our families around the past few weeks!!

Gran-Gran and Kate
I love this picture... Graham has been a great big brother!
With both grandkids
Loving the backyard...
And on our way to the big pool!

Sweet cuddle time after Graham is in bed :o)
